A new line from Japanese fishing giant Momoi, Zex monofilament is the line you need when abrasion resistance is a critical factor. Zex is an incredible 20 times more abrasion resistant than ordinary nylon, thanks to the triple layer treatment the line undergoes during manufacture. It is also a great casting line, as the afore-mentioned surface treatment gives it greater slip through the air and across rod guides. It lies neatly on a reel spool as well. Momoi Zex is an attractive pale blue in colour and comes in 3.3, 4.4, 5.5, 6.5, 8.4, 10.4, 12.5, 14.5 and 19.1 kilo breaking strains on 300 metre spools.
