Outrigger Base

Outriggers are an integral part of successful bluewater trolling, imparting greater action to both baits and lures, as well as being a handy place to hang release flags at the end of a successful day with the tag pole! Black Pete's outrigger bases are made from polished 316 marine grade stainless steel, with a nylon spline to prevent internal wear. The bases can be set at three different heights for varying trolling conditions, or to give greater line spread when fishing baits on the drift or while at anchor. They have an internal diameter of 41 mm, making them suitable for use with most popular fibreglass and aluminium outrigger poles, and the bases can be purchased as a pair, or individually for use as a shotgun rigger.
